Noting influences like Townes Van Zandt, The Replacements and Sparklehorse, it’s easy to understand why their genre is hard to nail down. Led by songwriter Blair Howerton, the sophistication of the band’s vivid songwriting combined with a blend of bedroom pop and distorted guitars make Why Bonnie’s music perfectly approachable.
