Indigo De Souza‘s sophomore record Any Shape You Take stays faithful to its name. The album spans across sonic landscapes, shape-shifting from hi-fi pop to ’90s grunge with melodies to match the stories De Souza tells.

“I wanted this album to give a feeling of shifting with and embracing change. These songs came from a turbulent time when I was coming to self-love through many existential crises and shifts in perspective,” she says.

The live delivery of these tracks is no different. De Souza’s performance, oozing with emotion, is as intentional as it is moving, taking the listener on a journey from a soft hum to a guttural scream. Watch Indigo De Souza perform “Bad Dream” and “Way Out” live at WNXP’s Sonic Cathedral.
