What Where When-sday – Music City Hot Chicken Festival – 6/29/22

Former Nashville Mayor Bill Purcell and Nashville artist Khrys Hatch talks hot chicken and music

It is Fourth of July weekend and we have a week of live music, food and fireworks for this week’s edition of What Where Wednesday.

16th Annual Music City Hot Chicken Festival also takes place this Monday at East Park starting from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. With a fire truck parade, some hot chicken from Nashville’s best restaurants and some live music from some Nashville artists before enjoying some fireworks at night. Former Nashville mayor Bill Purcell and Nashville artists Khrys Hatch, who helped organize the live music, joined me to discuss how the festival came together and what attendees can expect on Monday.
