This Thursday night, WNXP Trivia is back at the Blue Room. Here’s your monthly opportunity to test your music knowledge, win a pair of tickets to a show like Unknown Mortal Orchestra, The 1975 or Janelle Monae. And of course you get to hang out with us! WNXP Trivia will be hosted by Morning Host Celia and host of the weekday 2 p.m. “Power Hour,” Emily Young. Doors open at 7 p.m. with trivia starting at 8 p.m. so get to The Blue Room early to secure your spot and a clever name for your trivia team.
On Friday at Cheekwood Estate and Gardens, you can enjoy some Jazz Under the Stars for the first installment of their monthly series that will include Songwriters and Bluegrass, both under the stars. Mark Mason, Cheekwood’s Director of Music and Public Programs, joined me on What Where When-sday to provide more details on the summer event series.
Also, you can do some summer shopping in East Nashville with Music City Vintage and Sunday’s Best Market this Saturday from 12-6 p.m. in Music City Vintage’s parking lot on Gallatin Ave. Co-Owner of the store Justin Allman joined me to discuss the start of Music City Vintage and what vintage shoppers can expect on Saturday.
