Nashville Ballet’s latest production is our feature this week for What Where When-sday. Nutcrackers are all over the place this time of year: store displays, holiday decorations. One reason these figures are so popular this time of year is because of the beloved ballet that carries its name: The Nutcracker. WPLN’s LaTonya Turner spoke with some of the artists involved in the production.
Additional event opportunities include WNXP Presents Hovvdy at The Blue Room Thursday night. Also that night, Brian Brown will be at The End (check out a live session with Brian Brown performing in our Sonic Cathedral here). Also, legendary hip-hop group Bone Thugs and Harmony will be at Brooklyn Bowl on Monday.
The annual Nashville is Dead holiday show will take place Thursday at The Basement East with proceeds for the show going to the Community Resource Center of Middle Tennessee to help those impacted by the tornadoes this past weekend. Find out more ways to give or get help after the Middle Tennessee tornadoes in WPLN’s resource guide here, and for more upcoming events, visit WNXP.org/events.
