What Where When-sday: Science of Beer

Science of Beer, happening at the Adventure Science Center on Friday, is a 21 and older event brings beer lovers and science enthusiasts together featuring local, national and non-alcoholic breweries, food trucks, themed activities and live demonstrations.

“There’s science behind pretty much everything we do, but in building this event, I’ve been learning a lot myself about just the process of how to do it,” Kindell Williams, events and public programs manager at Adventure Science Center said. “The yeast, malt, hops, the different temperatures, all of the different ways of brewing things to create different types of beer. It really takes science to do that. You have to know the right measurements. You have do trials and test and you have to experiment and find the flavor that you are looking to create.”

Additional event opportunities:

Tonight (Feb 25) Amber Mark performs at Brooklyn Bowl. On Friday night (Feb 27) Del Water Gap and Hannah Jadagu are at Marathon Music Works and on Saturday (Feb 28) Sword II with Nashville band Total Wife perform at DRKMTTR. Also on Saturday Langhorne Slim is at The Basement East and the Grand Ole Opry presents a 25-year celebration of O Brother Where Art Thou?
