Meow! International Cat Day on August 8 — plus a renewed scrutiny on our nation’s innumerable childless cat ladies (egads!) — provided the purrfect opportunity to dive back into this former theme, which we opened wider to band and artist names evoking felines, as well as songs that do so. WNXP gathered so many requests, we stretched the theme to two shows over consecutive weeks.
