The Nude Party Strips Down at WNXP Nashville’s Sonic Cathedral

The Nude Party’s sophomore album ‘Midnight Manor’ arrived in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, an especially challenging time to release new music to a world that can’t properly experience it live and in-person in a crowded venue. Fans of the Boone, North Carolina-bred band finally have that opportunity as they tour the US in support of the 2020 record.

Inspired by the early days of The Rolling Stones and Todd Rundgren, ‘Midnight Manor’ delivers garage rock gold. From the raucous, jangly track “Lonely Heather” to the tongue-in-cheek, industry-baiting “Nashville Record Co.,” the charming rockers have honed in on their sound and established themselves as a staple in the new era of garage rock.

Watch three-sevenths of The Nude Party pay tribute to their beloved label New West Records and perform stripped down versions of “Pardon Me, Satan” and “Nashville Record Co.” live from the Sonic Cathedral at WNXP Nashville.
