For WNXP’s first-ever Record Store Weekend on-air, the team knew we wanted to center the voices of record store owners, local artists and you listeners (as on #ThematicStatic: Best Record Store Scores). We also thought it would be fun to highlight the portrayal of record shops, their employees and customers in TV and film. So was born four special hours of music and clips from movies and a show that dramatize life inside the brick and mortar record store.
