We asked some of WNXP’s favorite local musicians to share a favorite record store memory with us. These creatives reflected on time spent shopping, performing and even networking at record stores, in celebration of the brick and mortar gathering spot!
Here’s what we learned from Nashville-based artists Wilby, Tré Burt, *repeat repeat, Olivia Barton, Michigander, Becca Mancari, Bats (Jess Awh), Houston Kendrick, Huron John and Devon Gilfillian.
With the loss in federal funding, WNXP is now 100% powered by YOU! WNXP depends on the people who value this station and when you donate before 6pm CT on Thursday, Oct. 1, you’ll be automatically entered in a drawing for two side-stage tickets at Jack’s show at The Truth on Oct. 10 and a vinyl copy of his new LP Frozen Charlotte.
You aren’t required to make a donation to enter the drawings, but we hope you will support WNXP. Read drawing rules.
