Michael Pollard is the Production Director for WNXP, serving as the audio engineer for the station and mixing live sessions in the Sonic Cathedral and Backyard Sessions concert series! He is also the on-air host and curator of WNXP’s hip-hop show, The Cypher, on Saturdays from 7-8pm CT! He got his start in radio in undergrad at WMBC in Baltimore, MD and has been an audio engineer since he got his Masters from MTSU in 2011. He spent a decade touring the world as a Monitor Engineer, and joined WNXP right at the beginning in 2020 as a part-time on-air host. Now, as a full-time staff member, he can devote all his time to helping WNXP be your source for music discovery in Nashville! He is thrilled to be able to combine his dual passions of engaging radio and pristine audio at WNXP and to share his love of music with you, our audience.
