Born and raised in Nashville, Emily had no choice but to develop an affinity for music. From growing up on the country classics to hanging out in dirty basements watching JEFF the Brotherhood, the Nashville music scene is in her DNA. While she initially resisted a career in the music industry, ultimately, it sucked her in. She has done everything from artist management to tour promotion and nearly everything in between. She fell in love with radio while working for Nashville’s Lightning 100 and Radio Bonnaroo and honed her skills in booking and event production. It’s her goal in life to continue to foster the music community that raised her and provide opportunities for the Nashville music scene to thrive. Outside of work and music venues, you can find Emily teaching yoga at Hot Yoga of East Nashville and spending time at home with her cat Stella Blue.
