New Music Experience: Blvck Hippie’s ‘Basketball Camp’

This week on the show, we celebrate Black Music Month by focusing on artist’s working in the worlds of indie and alternative with insight from Blvck Hippie, the Memphis-based artist whose mission statement is “tryna show Black kids they can be weird too.” Their new album, Basketball Camp, is something bandleader Josh Shaw says they needed “to hear in high school.”
