New event, 615 Indie Live, Will Celebrate Independent Venues and Local Artists in Nashville

A new, affordable South By Southwest-style music event called 615 Indie Live is coming to Nashville. In February, 40 local bands are going to play across 13 independent venues all over the city.

The organizers want locals to have a good time and to get Nashvillians into local, independently-run venues like: The End, Dee’s Country Cocktail Lounge, DRKMTTR and Rudy’s Jazz Room, The 5 Spot, The Blue Room, 3rd and Lindsley, Eastside Bowl, Night We Met, Acme Feed and Seed, Music Makers Stage at Delgado Guitars, The Basement and The East Room.

The event isn’t going to hinge on a big name selling tickets — though it is Nashville and who knows who may play. Instead, the draw is the sense of community that these venues and musicians create.

And the price point is nice. You can get a pass to the whole event for $15.

Proceeds from the event will benefit Music Venue Alliance Nashville and their Emergency Relief Fund which helped keep many of the cities’ independent venues open during the pandemic.
