Michigander’s newcomers guide to Nashville

Jason Singer is always going to be a Michigander. WNXP’s Nashville Artist of the Month chose that moniker to honor his Michigan roots and as long as that’s the name on the venue bill, that’s the place Singer will be most associated with. But Singer is also proud to now call Nashville home. And less than a year after moving to Middle Tennessee, he’s become something of an ambassador — convincing other artists to bring their talents south (something he referenced in his guest DJ set, even referring to a “Michigan migration”).

So we asked him, does he have a guide for those who follow his lead? Something to help newcomers navigate Nashville? Singer is known as a genial and generous human so… of course he does! Here’s a list of Singer-approved spots (originally composed and shared via Apple Notes).
