Our July Nashville Artist of the Month is Cece Coakley, a Nashville-based singer-songwriter whose music blends indie pop, folk and country-tinged storytelling into a heartfelt, melodic sound.
To kick off being Nashville Artist of the Month, Coakley made us a mixtape of the songs shaping her world. “My playlist of songs is a mixtape of everything I’m listening to as I have been writing my upcoming record! I’ve been inspired by classics, new hits, and so many of my friends that I tried to capture the essence of my morning walks before heading to the studio and what I was listening to to get into the headspace to write and record,” she wrote.
