We are about to go to a little backyard studio in East Nashville with our Nashville Artist of the Month, Jessy Wilson.
She’s been in studios with many people. One of the first was John Legend. And the most recently was the session for her song “Keep Rising,” which is featured in the movie The Woman King.
After not singing for the last two years, Wilson returned to the room where she recorded the original to make an acousic version and to film her own music video for the song.
We were there to capture it.
And now we get to go into the studio with Jessy Wilson.
