Here with another edition of What Where When-sday powered by Do615, a rundown on what’s happening in Nashville this week.

A jam packed Wednesday night with Ty Segall at Mercy Lounge, Wale at Marathon Music Works and Billie Eilish at Bridgestone Arena. If you still have energy after tonight, you can check out Langhorne Slim this Friday at Mercy Lounge, or sing “Bohemian Rhapsody” at the top of your lungs with Killer Queen “A Tribute to Queen” at Marathon Music Works.

Saturday night listen to covers of your favorite 90s Hip Hop, R&B and Pop songs with My So Called Band at The Basement East. Close out the weekend on Sunday night with legendary soul group Kool and the Gang at Schermerhorn Symphony Center and Indie Rock duo Mattiel at Exit/In.

On Monday and Tuesday night, Texas trio Khruangbin will perform two nights at the Ryman Auditorium. Their new EP Texas Moon with Leon Bridges is our WNXP Record of the Week. Some great instrumental and psychedelic rock at the Ryman. DJ Johnson and Laura Lee of Khruangbin discussed returning to live music and what fans can expect at their Ryman shows?

The energy has been pretty spectacular out there. It always is, but I think absence makes the heart grow fonder in every aspect of life. I think people really felt missing live music. To be on the other side of that, I feel incredibly privileged. Not many people will understand what it feels like to play for people that have been deprived for two years
