WNXP’s Nashville Artist of the Month for October Josh Gilligan sat down in the Sonic Cathedral to discuss his new record Sideways, the first for the Nashville-based Congrats Records. Gilligan details the album’s unexpected inspiration from a night out at a Palm Springs restaurant, the encouragement he’s gotten from Congrats founder and Paramore drummer Zac Farro who produced Sideways and the difference between standing on the side of the stage with artists like Medium Build and stepping up to the mic for his solo work.
