On the Record: Langhorne Slim

Raised in the Philadelphia suburbs, Langhorne Slim has been based in Nashville for more than a decade and that’s where he ran across fellow Music City residents Greta Van Fleet. The arena rockers might seem a strange collaborative fit for an artist who has largely made his name in the Americana space but Langhorne says Greta bassist Sam Kiszka and drummer Danny Wagner brought an unexpected energy out of him that resulted in his most rock and roll release yet. Langhorne takes us deep inside The Dreamin’ Kind in this On The Record conversation including why his songs might not be about what you think they’re about and why he still loves, and believes in, Nashville.
