Another jam packed week of live music and some weekend festivals around Nashville. We break down everything happening this week with Chris and Zach with Do615.

Jason Isbell wrapping up his eight night residency at the Ryman starting tonight with opener Shemekia Copeland. He resumes on Friday with Allison Russell, Saturday with Joy Oladokun, and Sunday with Adia Victoria. Some more modern punk at Cannery Ballroom with British rock band Idles.

Two great nights at Exit/In with indie rock band Cloud Nothings on Thursday and Australian band Middle Kids performing new songs off their album Today We’re the Greatest on Friday. British singer/songwriter Arlo Parks closing out the week with Michelle on Sunday at Mercy Lounge.

Some weekend festival on Saturday with the Fall Festival at the Music City Food Truck Park and Centennial Craft Fest. Also on Saturday Tennessee Brew Works’ OkTurnerFest featuring a rare whiskey and craft beer tastings and a diversity panel discussion with the great-great granddaughter of Nearest Green, aka “Uncle Nearest,” Victoria Butler.
