What Where When-sday: Music In My Neighborhood

This week for What Where Wednesday, we discuss Music In My Neighborhood with Kimberly Kraft McLemore, VP of Education and Community Engagement for the Nashville Symphony. It’s a weeklong musical takeover of the North Nashville and Bordeaux neighborhoods — in a partnership with the symphony and local organizations to highlight the history, culture and residents.

Additional event opportunities this week include two nights with Band of Horses at the Ryman which starts tonight. WNXP Trivia is back at the Blue Room on Thursday. Also on Thursday, Juvenile and his Tiny Desk band kick off two nights at Brooklyn Bowl. And the musical for legendary singer Tina Turner is happening at TPAC.

There is a Nashville SC jersey reveal at Geodis Park and music curated by WNXP with Tim Gent, The Sewing Club, and WNXP DJ Aaron Monty on Saturday. Gates open at 12 p.m. with the reveal at 12:30 and free to the public. Stay up to date on upcoming events at WNXP.org/events.
