What Where When-sday: Music City Movement’s Spring Fest

Music City Movement’s mission is to foster a creative collaborative environment for musicians and creatives through open mic, educational sessions, and networking events. They will be hosting Spring Fest this Saturday at Honeytree Meadery featuring local artists and vendors.

“Music City Movement came to be because I had just moved to Nashville and noticed that there is a very thriving music scene here for all genres and all kinds of artists,” said Jenna Rose, co-founder of Music City Movement. “But I noticed a need for a space for musicians to come together and create community and really help each other thrive and uplift one another. That’s what it was born out of. We want to see interesting things being made that wouldn’t have otherwise happened without people coming together. We’ve gotten to see a lot of that stuff happen, which has been really fulfilling. A lot of different projects come to life and albums happen with people who have met through our events — that’s what it’s all about, and it’s exactly what we want to do.”
