Friday and Saturday Jorts Fest takes place at Eastside Bowl. The forth annual event features a blend of touring acts from Leisure Hour, The Latchkey Kids, and Blvck Hippie to Nashville acts The Sewing Club and Hussy Fit. Celia spoke to the organizer Joe Halby prior to last year’s event to talk about how it came together.
 ”I think just being around Nashville and seeing our growing punk rock, pop punk scene happening is we should try to just get everybody together for a weekend and see what happens, he said. “That was the first year, and then last year we were like, ‘Let’s see what can happen a little bit more.'”
Tomorrow night WNXP Trivia is back at the Blue Room and Friday night (May 22) Noah Gundersen is at the Basement East. Saturday Nashville SC takes on New York City FC at Geodis Park featuring a pregame performance from Nashville band BEAN. curated by WNXP at Fan Fest at Publix Plaza.
