This week for What Where When-sday the gates to Nashville’s City Cemetery squeak open as they offer a lantern-guided tour of the famed graveyard for Halloween. It was originally established in 1822 as the first public cemetery. There are a lot of notable people buried there, including the founder of Nashville, but the tour is about the murders and mysteries of everyday Nashvillians. We speak with Ashley White from the Nashville City Cemetery Association about what to expect and who she is highlighting on the tour.
More highlights this week include three WNXP Presents shows, starting tonight with Say She She at The Blue Room. Then, at the same venue, there’s Palehound tomorrow night, and Illiterate Light will be at Exit/In on Saturday night. Find more events happening this week below and anytime at wnxp.org/events.
