What Where When-sday: Food For The Soul Festival

This week for What Where When-sday, we discuss Food For The Soul Fest with Carlos Partee, co-owner of Nashville Black Market and Cashville, Etc. The second annual event takes place this Saturday and Sunday at Hadley Park. Partee and his business partner, Javvon Jones, wanted to showcase and promote different food vendors from around the country and right here in Nashville. Partee talked about the event, his go-to dish and the importance of soul food.

Additional event opportunities start tonight with Mitski returning to the Ryman for four nights. Our monthly WNXP Trivia happens at The Blue Room on Thursday night. Also at the Blue Room on Sunday is Vorhex Angel and Snooper. Meanwhile, at Brooklyn Bowl, rapper Danny Brown performs songs from his latest album Quaranta. On Monday, WNXP Presents Mannequin Pussy performing songs from their new album, I Got Heaven, at the Basement East — currently, that show is sold out. Check out our review of the album here.
