It’s the last week of the shortest month of the year and WNXP is keeping you up to date with the happenings in Nashville in the next few days, from Billy Strings at Bridgestone Arena to WNXP’s New Music Taste Test at the Tennessee Brew Works taproom on Sunday from 5 to 7 p.m.
Our special guest this week is Elke. The Nashville based artist recently released her EP My “Human Experience” back in 2022 featuring the track “Milk Dipped Cloud.” She will co-headline a WNXP presents show at The Blue Room this Friday night along with Vlad Holiday, and a special DJ set from HalfNoise, the musical project of Paramore drummer Zach Farro. WNXP Morning Host Celia had the opportunity to talk with Elke about the upcoming show, musical inspiration behind the EP, her karaoke vocal range, and what, exactly, is a “Milk Dipped Cloud?”
