DRKMTTR Collective is a local, all-ages music venue that hopes to build a community in underground music and arts scenes. This week for What Where When-sday, we discuss DRKMTTR Fest happening on Saturday and Sunday.

Katy Kirby, one of the event’s performers and a former employee at the space, joined us to talk about how important the DIY venue was for her through her journey.

Additional event opportunities begin tonight with Sabrina Carpenter at Bridgestone Arena and Thee Sacred Souls performing their latest project, Got a Story to Tell, at the Ryman. WNXP Trivia returns to The Blue Room tomorrow night. And on Friday afternoon, former WNXP Nashville Artist of the Month Joy Oladokun gives an in-store performance at Grimey’s in celebration of her new album, Observations From A Crowded Room.

Speaking of former WNXP Nashville Artists of the Month, Rainbow Kitten Surprise performs at Ascend. Wrap up the week Monday with two WNXP Presents shows between Cursive at The Basement East and Porches at Exit/In.
