This week we are talking about an event taking place tonight The Dive Motel’s All-Star Jam. An open stage for singers and songwriters with an all-female house band that will take place on the second and fourth Wednesday of every month. Sign-up begins at 6:30pm, the with the jams running from 7-10pm with a focused-on genres from indie rock, soul, and roots. Singer Alyssa Lazar, featured on the recent season of The Voice, will be on the keys, guitarist Kristen Ford, and drummer “D” Flood joined us to discuss how the idea for this event at the Dive Motel come together and what singers and songwriters can take away from this experience?
