What Where When-sday: Concert and Conversation: Night Train to Lovenoise

This week for What Where When-sday, we discuss Concert and Conversation: Night Train to Lovenoise: A Generational Journey of Black Music in Nashville. The event is taking place this Saturday at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum from 2:30 to 4 p.m.

Additional event opportunities start tonight: We’ve got three shows between Violent Femmes with the Nashville Symphony, Nilufer Yanya at The Basement East, and the third-annual You Got Gold celebration of John Prine at the Ryman. Speaking of the Ryman, tomorrow night, Jason Isbell begins his eight-night residency, and soul singer Eric Roberson performs at City Winery.

This weekend, Vampire Weekend is at Ascend Amphitheater on Friday, and then there’s Maggie Rogers at Bridgestone Arena on Saturday. WNXP presents two shows this week with Duster at Brooklyn Bowl on Sunday and Bob Mould at The Blue Room on Tuesday.
