For What Where Whens-Day we are talking about two events surrounding the theme of art. Starting with the Art Wire: An Inspired Evening of Writing tonight beginning at 7 p.m. at OZ Arts. Art Wire is an ongoing creative writing collaboration between OZ Arts and The Porch. Writers were selected to attend a variety of OZ Arts presentations throughout the 2022-23 season from Martha Redbone to Kid Koala’s The Storyville Mosquito and responded to each work through original writing that will be shared tonight. Mark Murphy, executive and artistic director at OZ Arts, joined me to discuss the event.
Sticking with the arts, The Art Party this Saturday at Jackalope Brewing. This event Saturday and gives attendees a free creative art experience, an opportunity to collaborate with others in the community, and a chance to paint on a large canvas, regardless of your paint skills. The host Miranda Rose joined me to discuss The Art Party.
