This is another edition of What Where When-sday, bringing you up to date with happenings in Nashville this week.
There’s a lot of great live music happening from locals, from Ladycouch on Friday at Riverside Revival, and down the road at Basement East is Dylan LeBlanc and Airpark. On Tuesday night, if the band Tool at Bridgestone Arena is not your speed, maybe you go to Kashena Sampson’s residency at the 5 Spot, with great guests every Tuesday this month. The movie Frozen – yes, that one, “let it go!” – is playing at The Belcourt Theater this weekend, maybe fun for the whole family.
Our guest this week is Rachel Scarbrough, a former Nashville resident who’s worked with Ground Control Touring to bring Saturday’s Abortion Access Benefit at DRKMTTR to fruition. This fundraiser show (100% of ticket proceeds go to regional organizations supporting reproductive rights) is one of five held around the country on the same night, and Nashville’s boasts a stacked bill of some of our favorite acts, including current Nashville Artist of the Month Brian Brown, plus WNXP regulars Soccer Mommy, Snõõper and Mali Velasquez.
