While it might be a cliche, it is appropriate to call North London’s Sorry genreless– mostly because calling them anything else puts the band in a box where they simply don’t belong. Blending modern pop rock production and trip-hop with ’90s grunge and ’70s songwriting, the five-piece is creating some of the most interesting music coming out of the UK’s buzzing indie scene. Their sophomore record Anywhere But Here maintains their reputation of unpredictability while simultaneously serving as their most approachable work yet.
