Thematic Static: Black Friday Record Store Day recommendations

The second official Record Store Day of the year is held on the biggest shopping day for brick and mortar shops in America, Black Friday, the day after the Thanksgiving holiday. Typically the haul for independent record stores is more modest on this day than the annual springtime drop of RSD releases in April. But the list still included dozens of combined full-length albums, special multiple-LP sets, rereleases of historic albums, fun singles on 7″ and 12″ vinyl, and more. Thanks, audiophiles, for your requests in helping others craft their Record Store Day shopping list on this special Black Friday edition of the show!

Thanks, too, to United Record Pressing for supporting this mixtape we make together on WNXP. Find the next prompt for Thematic Static @wnxpnashville on the socials. You can also leave a voicemail at 615-320-9100.
