I was delighted when WNXP listener Jordan emailed me with a great idea for a Thematic Static show — the highly subjective, therefore highly diverse mix that is “Songs You Listen to on Repeat.” His examples were St. Vincent’s “New York” and Radiohead’s “Street Spirit (Fade Out).” Unsurprisingly — no surprises, please? — two additional listeners requested Radiohead tunes, which I spread across the two shows we compiled together.
