Fresh off the release of their new album Worldwide, Nashville Artist of the Month Snooper has given us a guide to the places that shaped their lives and community in Nashville. From hunting for music gear to climbing, Connor and Blair’s favorite local spots show how deeply their DIY spirit runs through every corner of their lives. Explore Snooper’s Nashville — and the places that helped fuel the frantic fun of Worldwide — below.
McKay’s

Blair: We have found so many things at McKay’s that have made their way into music videos and into our music. Before recording this new album, we could a cheap drum machine here that inspired us to start demoing songs for this record. Worldwide and Star * 69 would not have been written without it. Shoutout McKay’s!
Random Sample

Blair: This is such an important space! There are so many great art and music venues on the East Side, but not as many on the West Side. Linda (the owner of Random Sample) puts so much love and care into this space and they host some really amazing artists from all over the world. The West side desperately needed a space like this. Shoutout to Linda, Ivy, and Andie for really bringing this space to life!
Climb Nashville West

Blair: We love to Climb! Climbing has kept mine and Connor’s partnership in tact in many ways. You have to be able to communicate well as climbing partners! We are so thankful for the lessons we’ve learned together as climbing partners here in this gym.
Mas Tacos

Blair: I could literally eat here every single day. Not only do I love the food here, but the staff is always so friendly. They also just catered the Bread and Puppet show (for free!) and I love how involved they are with the community.
Garage Sale Vintage

Blair: I genuinely think this place has the best vintage in Nashville. I specifically love their selection of Y2K vintage! I have found so many amazing pieces here and I love that you can sit at the bar and have a drink here while you shop if you’re into that kind of thing!!
Grand Palace

Connor: The best screen printing shop in Nashville! Bingham and me go way back to our days living in Murfreesboro. They have helped me out so much in my journey to learn screen printing and are the only shop I trust with complex designs.
Risology Club

Connor: Risology Club is another staple for our record covers, posters and cassette J-Cards. Especially with our label Electric Outlet. Graham is the best!
Duke’s

Connor: The OG! I worked here for 8 years and it has always been the best owners and coworkers. It feels like everyone in a band in town has worked here in some capacity. Best sandwiches, DJ’s and drink specials. WE LOVE DUKE’S!!!
Black Dynasty

Connor: The best ramen in town! We are sad they are leaving the West Side as we used to grab two bowls, skewers and a THC drink from Bearded Iris, but excited for everyone on the East side to have more ramen options!
Cornelia Fort Airpark

Connor: The best park in all of Nashville IMO. I go there almost everyday and have come up with so many ideas for the band & our label here. Truly a Nashville hidden gem that is crucial to who I am as a person.
Maiz De La Vida

Connor: This is the best food truck and arguably the best Mexican in East Nashville. I won’t blow up the spot with the secret order but the birria burritos have gotten me through this Summer in Nashville.
