French up-and-comers Oracle Sisters are redefining DIY. Their sophomore record Divinations was released via their own label, Wizard Artists, and the album’s artwork was also made by the trio using newspaper clippings. The creativity doesn’t stop there. Each member of the band is a multi-instrumentalist and singer in their own right.
From Denmark to Northern Ireland and Sweden to Belgium, Oracle Sisters origin story is as unique as their sound. Their scope of talent, combined with their diverse geographical backgrounds, comes together like a puzzle — blending psychedelia, indie rock, pop and jazz to create steady grooves that simultaneously feel warm and familiar yet worldly. Citing influences like Carl Jung, Leonard Cohen, Air, Talking Heads, Rimbaud and Baudelaire, Oracle Sisters show that their inspirations are boundless.
