Mon Rovîa Live at WNXP

Liberia-born, Tennessee-based artist Mon Rovîa‘s gentle approach to songwriting has captivated social media and internet fans around the globe. Perhaps the chaotic state of the world has drawn listeners to his meditative music and spiritual songwriting. In fact, that’s part of Mon Rovîa’s mission as an artist — to use his art to influence the greater culture.

“This is the most important time for an artist to be able to use their voice and not be afraid of maybe the consequences that could happen,” he told WNXP while visiting the Sonic Cathedral.

His stripped-back arrangements put his contemplative and often inspiring lyrics at the forefront, reinforcing the intimacy of his craft.

Watch Mon Rovîa perform “Rust.,” “crooked the road.” and “Big Love Ahead” live at WNXP’s Sonic Cathedral.
