Logan Ledger Brings the Golden State to Nashville

With just two albums under his belt, Logan Ledger is already reinventing himself. His sophomore effort Golden State finds the Nashville-based artist leaving behind his traditional country foundation and embracing the folk rock sounds of Laurel Canyon in the late ’60s and early ’70s. If the nod to California country-rock isn’t obvious by the album title, the dreamy soundscapes complete with pedal steel and lush harmonies will clear any confusion. Ledger’s new direction proves his commitment to experimentation and growth, vowing to “never do the same thing twice.”

Watch Logan Ledger perform the title track to Golden State and “Where Will I Go” live at WNXP’s Sonic Cathedral.
