José González is as authentic as he is talented. His craftsmanship is equally matched by his heart. With an innate ability to pen the perfect melody, González’s music is hypnotizing and transcendent. His upcoming album Against The Dying Of The Light is no exception. A reflection of our times, the record focuses on navigating humanity in the modern age, embracing what led us here and addressing “perverse incentives and algorithms” that don’t align with human flourishing.
“They can be listened to just for the sounds, harmonies, and rhythms but the lyrics are meant to inspire people to engage and take action by collaborating to solve collective problems. For humanism and enlightenment values and against the dying of the light,” González says.
