The Sydney-formed quintet are no strangers to lyrical intimacy, but their third studio effort captures the feeling of raw grief and packages it into stadium-sized rock. Led by Dave Le’aupepe’s frequent self-deprecating storytelling, the band blends bursting guitar riffs, synths and even violin to create in-your-face indie rock with a touch of sweetness.
