Bartees Strange’s sophomore effort Farm to Table proves why he’s a star on the rise. Blending hip-hop with emo and indie rock, the album is a continuation of Strange’s eclectic sound, but takes a softer approach to songwriting. His hard pivots from genre to genre land softly thanks, in part, to his vocal stylings and relatable lyrics. His genre fluidity makes Strange’s music approachable by all and affirms that his sonic range will only expand with time.
