A Thin Silver Lining For Bonnaroo Fans After A Disappointing Week

The negative impacts of this week’s last-minute Bonnaroo cancellation are far-reaching, from organizers to artists to Manchester and other Middle Tennessee communities that count on the economic boost from the fest. But there is a thin silver lining for fans that would have been on the farm this weekend and now have some open days on their hands. As predicted, some of the acts from the Roo lineup announced shows at Nashville clubs, many of which have quickly sold out. And there may be more announcements to come. Longtime Nashvillians could have guessed that Third Man Records would be in the mix, but keep an eye on additions popping up on the calendars of venues tied to the music company who own the majority stake in Bonnaroo, Live Nation, Brooklyn Bowl and Basement East.

Beyond live music events, some businesses are also offering special deals for Bonnaroo ticket holders, and other Roo vendors are looking at hosting their own mini-events. We’ll keep you updated on socials (follow us @WNXPNashville on both Twitter and Instagram) and put the latest in this list.
