The second-ever Railbird Festival is this weekend at the beautiful (and quite bougie) Keeneland race track in Lexington, Kentucky. I’m not heading slightly northeast of Nashville to horse around, though — I’ll be covering great artists like My Morning Jacket, Leon Bridges, Margo Price, Khruangbin, Joy Oladokun, Liz Cooper, Black Pumas and The Brook & the Bluff while representing WNXP in my Kentucky hometown! In honor of my return to The Bluegrass State, I compiled an eight-song, horse-themed set, and there are dozens of additional fitting tracks I did not get to air.
