Marquis started radio back in 2014 working for his college radio station at The University of Alabama. He hosted various sports shows and his own classic hip-hop show titled “Can I Kick Out.” After college, he worked in sports radio in Tuscaloosa, Alabama and Nashville until the launch of WNXP in 2020, where he started out as the morning show host until becoming the evening host in 2021. Marquis also hosts Soulphonic Sounds, a blend of both old & new soul and funk music as a perfect way to unwind and close out the week and go into the weekend.
