Oklahoma indie-pop duo Sports returned to their roots on their self-titled fourth album, released in February. Childhood friends Cale Chronister and Christian Theriot built their own studio in Tulsa, arranged their equipment in a circle and took full control of the recording process, self-producing an album that brings their longtime creative partnership back to the forefront. The result is a record full of warm synths, dreamy textures and the natural creative chemistry between two friends who have been making music together since middle school.
